A Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the University of Southhampton is looking to hear more about the experiences of having a brother or sister with Down’s Syndrome from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds. To be eligible for this research you or your child would need to be a sibling of someone with Down’s Syndrome, between 9-25 years old, and identify with an unrepresented ethnic background. A Trainee Educational Psychologist studying at UEA is looking to interview parents who have children with down syndrome  and gain their views on how they advocate sense of school belonging for their child. To take part you have to be a biological parent of a child with down syndrome. Your child must be aged between 5-16 years old. Your child must currently be in full-time education (in England). Researchers from the University of Reading are looking for parents of 2-4-year-old children with Down syndrome to help co-design a language intervention. The project focuses on shared book reading, so we’re particularly interested in parents who enjoy reading with their children. Pre-school Research.


A third year Education student at the University of Cambridge is looking for participants to engage in a study about parents and guardians with dependents with Down’s Syndrome and how they navigate the further education application and admissions process. To be eligible, you need to be currently involved with applying to further education colleges for your child with Down’s syndrome or have been within the last three years.
