Get creative this half term with a FREE session of pottery painting or teddy bear making at The Activity Box in Herne Bay!
Thanks to KCC’s Reconnect Fund, we are able to offer a limited number of FREE tickets for families in KENT with children with Down’s syndrome for each of these activities (please note the deposit paid will be FULLY REFUNDED following the activity).
Pottery Painting: There are a number of items to choose from to paint. All paints are non-toxic and clothes friendly, however we recommend not wearing your finest! Younger children are very much welcomed as they can mark make on the pottery with sponges, brushes, fingers or even feet! Please note pottery does need to be kilned and so will not be available to take home on the day. You can either collect your pottery from The Activity Box on another day, or they can courier to you at an additional cost of £7 (payable by you).
Teddy Bear Making: Suitable for 5 years plus (younger children are welcome, but will need support!). Activity includes choosing the bear skin, fluff, heart, a T-shirt to decorate with textile pens and a drawstring bag.
We have both morning and afternoon sessions available for these activities, so why not tie it in with a trip to the seafront or an ice cream along the promenade?!
