The Cost-of-living Tool Kit
Led by Lorelei Freeman from Crosslight Advice, this webinar is packed with information and tips to help participants manage their money when times are tough and includes a focus on what’s going on with the current cost-of-living crisis, as well as sources of support in this area. It also covers some ‘quick wins’ in the areas of saving money and maximising income, and introduces the topics of beginning a budget, and managing our money day-to-day.
Medway Citizen’s Advice Bureau
Providing you with the latest advice on how to deal with unpaid bills and debts. This guidance applies to all residents of Kent.
•Understanding some of the common causes of debt and how it can affect a person’s health.
•Identify the differences between a Budget and a Financial Statement and what information should be listed on both.
•The difference between Non–Priority and Priority debts, using common examples.
•Have a basic understanding of how to deal with unpaid bills and debts, including money saving tips & ways of increasing household incomes.
•Debt services available to Medway residents.
•Contacts and resources to develop further understanding of debt and money matters.
Wellbeing & Managing Stress
Is your current situation getting you down? Making you stressed? Anxious?
This worksheet, provided Benn Baker-Pollard from Inspired to Change, was handed out in our workshop on spotting and managing the triggers of stress and building resilience. Whether it’s the state of your finances or the strains of everyday life causing you stress, this informative session was designed to empower you and help you feel in control again.
Covering how our minds work, the impact of stress, and how we can suffer from Anxiety, Depression or other traits such as OCD.
Green Doctor
This workshop was dedicated to giving advice from Green Doctor, delivering essential tips on saving money on your energy bills during this Cost-of-Living Crisis!

Looking at the application criteria, the supporting documents which may help your application and how to complete the form effectively, giving you the greatest chance of getting your application agreed.
